Q: What are the products lead times?                                                                                                                                   A: Stock size standard clear splashbacks usually a few working days. Extra Clear, sandblasted splashbacks/shelves are all made to measure and  take approx 2 weeks. Coloured splashbacks = approx 3 weeks. Printed splashbacks =  approx 2- 4 weeks (dependant on whether or not the glass is a stock size)

Q: Will the colour of the glass I order be exactly the same as the ones on screen?
A: It will be a very close match, the colours on screen may vary due to brightness or contrast of your computer screen.

Q: Will the splashback be a solid colour or see-through?

A: You will not be able to see through your splashback as a solid colour is applied along with a foil backing to help protect the paint.

Q: What tools do I need to install the glass splashback?

A: If installing a coloured glass splashback you will need to use low modulus silicone (click here to purchase from our shop) a silicone gun, and some sort of packer so that the edge of the glass doesn't touch any hard surface. A packer can be something simple like cardboard. And a Stanley knife to cut the nozzle on the silicone. Always seal the edges of a coloured glass splashback with the same low modulus silicone. If installing a clear glass splashback which has 4 holes then you will need a pencil, a drill bit, wall plugs and a cordless drill along with a flat head screw driver. All fixings will be supplied.

Q: Will the glass be safe?
A: Our glass splashbacks are made from toughened glass which complies to British Standard BS EN 12150, so it will not crack from the heat of the hob. It needs to be at least 50mm from the naked flame. Please take great care that pans/ naked flames do not come into contact with the glass splashback and bear in mind that flames can travel around the pans so this need to be taken into consideration when measuring the distances. Our glass can withstand tempratures of up to 400 degrees C. The glass is very safe to handle as it has highly polished edges. Please do not buy glass splashbacks which are not toughened glass as they will eventually crack from the heat of the hob.
